I'm pretty happy with my progress so far. I've done every assignment and one extra credit assignment, so I'm on track to get an A. I've enjoyed reading and playing around with the writing assignments, and I'm glad that I'm doing all of the assignments in order rather than skipping around to the more exciting ones - I stay on track better this way. I've also been about a week ahead all semester, so hopefully I'll be able to finish the class a little early. My work schedule has been different than expected, so I haven't been sticking to the schedule I planned at the beginning, but I haven't struggled to get work done.
Looking forward, I think I'll keep doing what I'm doing - working ahead suits my schedule really well. I may try to spend a little less time on the reading assignments and refine my note taking strategies so that I'm only highlighting what's important. That way, I could spend more time writing and editing. I'm still enjoying the class and looking forward to finishing my storybook.

ReplyDeleteI already commented on your introduction so I thought I would comment here. Congrats on being on week 8 already. I tried to stay ahead but things got busy and now I am pretty much getting assignments done as they are due! I am following your strategy of doing things in order, if I tried it any other way I would probably forget to do things! Good luck with the rest of the semester!

ReplyDeleteI am glad to see you are progressing nicely in the course. I agree with you completely. It is much easier to do the assignments in order rather than jumping around. It helps you keep track and stay focused. One week I jumped around and it was very disorganized for me. I hope you finish strong this semester.
