Week 8 Comments and Feedback
Feedback:
I have enjoyed getting feedback on my stories, and it has definitely made me consider parts of my writing that may be confusing. I think some people may be hesitant to critique, though - the comments have been gentler than I expected, and I think I am possibly being a little harsher than most of the people who comment on my stories. The WWW strategy has been a huge help in giving critique. It helps me focus on the content of the story, rather than grammar and punctuation, which are ultimately less important.
Blog Comments:
Blog comments are fun. I don't know how much you can ever learn about someone just be reading them, but I definitely like knowing a little bit about the people who I'm interacting with in this course. Writing an introduction for myself also made my feel like a real blogger, which is a fun identity to adopt for the semester.
Looking Forward:
I don't plan to make any significant changes to my comment wall or introduction. I will keep monitoring my feedback on other students' posts to make sure that it is constructive and helpful to them as they refine their stories.
Feedback Cat:
I like this Feedback Cat because I definitely relate to this style of learning. I think that often what we need to do in order to learn something new is to jump in headfirst and learn to refine later. Feedback is necessary for that.
